A senior politician, 
                          Khwaja Nazimuddin was Member of the Muslim League Working 
                          Committee. In 1934 he was nominated to the Bengal Executive 
                          Council and became Home Minister. In 1937 He became 
                          the Interior Minster and then from 1943 to 1945 he was 
                          Chief Minister of Bengal. He went to America as Indian 
                          food Representative in 1945 and also represented India 
                          in the League of Nations session of 1945 in Geneva. 
                          
                          After independence he became the first Governor of former 
                          East Pakistan and succeeded the Quaid-e-Azam as the 
                          second Governor General. After death of Liaquat Ali 
                          Khan in 1951, he became the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
